✦ A Thrift + Coffee Day in Westbank ✦

Caffeine, Cowboy Shirts, and Secondhand Serotonin

Started the day the only way that makes sense — at Cozy Nook Café.
Small-town cozy in the best way: mismatched mugs, warm chatter, and the smell of coffee and pancakes fighting for dominance in the air. I grabbed a latte (obviously) and just existed for a bit — you know that slow, golden kind of morning where everything feels like a scene from an indie movie? That.

Then it was off to Howdy Partner Vintage, which is basically a Western fever dream — cowboy boots stacked like art, 70s denim, embroidered button-ups that make you wanna drive a pickup down a dusty road with the windows down and Fleetwood Mac blasting.

I tried on a hat I didn’t need but now definitely think about daily.

Next stop: Salvation Army. The kind of place where time stands still and you can lose hours digging through racks of chaos and gold. Found a random corduroy jacket that smelled like the 90s and pure luck.

Rounded it out at Value Village, where the vibe was fluorescent and mildly chaotic in that thrift-hunter way — carts creaking, hangers clacking, and that sweet serotonin rush when you score something that feels like it chose you.

By the end, I had caffeine in my system, a few thrift treasures in my tote, and the dusty-satisfied feeling that only comes from wandering around small-town Westbank chasing vibes instead of plans.

Mood: thrift dust + latte foam
Soundtrack: Mazzy Star, mixed with hangers clanking
Vibe: cozy chaos meets secondhand daydreams
